Who is eligible to join VetMEDResearch?
VetMEDResearch membership is open to all veterinarians, licensed and unlicensed veterinary technicians and veterinary hospital staff members in the United States, Canada and other countries. Registration is as easy as completing the online form.
What can I expect when I join VetMEDResearch?
VetMEDResearch members are selected to participate in veterinary marketing research surveys based on the profile information provided at registration. When there is a survey for which we think you qualify, we will email you with instructions and a link to the survey. Most surveys begin with a few qualifying questions to confirm or clarify eligibility to participate in the survey. We always provide an estimate of the time required and information on the amount of the honorarium you would receive if you qualify and complete the survey.
How do I earn honoraria?
We incentivize survey participants with Amazon or VISA gift cards. For interviews and focus groups we offer cash or the option of a gift card. Occasionally we will recruit for larger, longer-term compensated studies with a very brief qualifying survey that is not compensated. The amount that can be earned for participating in a survey will be stated in each survey invitation.
How do I receive my honorarium?
We send incentives as soon as a project is completed, so you will usually see your incentive within a week–perhaps more if a check has to make its way through the postal system. If you don’t receive your gift card or check when you were expecting it, please email the contact on your survey invitation or complete our contact form and let us know. Be sure to provide us with the description of the study, approximate date you responded to the survey.
Will I get a lot of email from VetMEDResearch?
No. The frequency at which you will receive veterinary marketing research survey invitations will depend on the qualifications our clients are seeking. Our policy is to limit participation in surveys to no more than once every 90 days.
Will VetMEDResearch sell my e-mail address or personal information?
Absolutely not. We work very hard to protect your privacy and the security of the information you provide. We will never sell, trade, rent, disclose or make available your identity, e-mail address, phone number or other information to any outside third party without receiving your authorization to do so, or unless we are required to do so by a court decision or by a public authority. When we field surveys for clients hosting their own surveys, we always test the surveys to ensure they are not collecting identifying information.
How do I change my contact information?
To change or update your contact information, log into your VetMEDResearch account using your e-mail address and current password. Click the Log In tab at the top of the page. You can retrieve your password there if you have forgotten it.
How can I cancel my VetMEDResearch membership?
To cancel your membership, send an email using our contact form with your name and email address. We will remove you from the database immediately.
