I asked Dr. Brook Niemiec of Veterinary Dental Specialties & Oral Surgery about some the biggest dental health challenges he sees and his best advice for pet owners.

The biggest issues are
1. Brushing their pets teeth. You could do this with trying to get people to brush young, that’s important.
2. There is the fact that people avoid doing dentals because of cost or fear of anesthesia. Those are very common issues.
